PLEASE CONSIDER A DONATION

A FINAL PERSONAL APPEAL
Hi all. I'm still hoping for a few dollars to reach my fund-raising goal (I'm 99.9% there). Personally, I'm appealing to those of you who appreciate the reliability, honesty, accuracy, and knowledge of the site, to consider a donation, (especially if it helps with financial decisions related to your business). If you fall into any of these categories and find value in the effort put forth, I humbly ask that you make a $20 dollar investment into this unique and reliable product.
Thanks so much, T. Swails
ROLLER COASTER WINDS...
The winds were stiff and chilly Sunday, with temperatures in the 30s and 40s. The brisk day came after a narrowband of snow fell overnight into early Sunday morning in parts of far southeast Iowa and northwest Illinois:

Winds will calm down overnight, but start to increase and turn out of the south Monday morning. Gusts of 30-35 mph will be likely in the afternoon:

What little snow remains will melt as temperatures surge into the 60s Monday afternoon with the help of the wind:

There will be elevated fire danger in areas where the snow didn't fall, as the air and ground continues to be unusually dry:

Winds will not be quite as strong on Tuesday, but it will still be blustery:

Temperatures go even higher Tuesday, ending up in the mid 60s to low 70s:

A low pressure system will move in Tuesday night and Wednesday, leading to rain (possibly some storms) and increasing winds once again.

Winds will become quite stout as the storm passes later Wednesday into Thursday.

Light rain will continue through the day, with a changeover to some light snow possible late Wednesday night. Accumulations should be around an inc or less as temperatures remain near/above freezing.

Thursday will be yet another breezy chilly day with temperatures held in the 40s:

Friday, another storm system approaches, bringing a renewed chance of rain. Roll weather, and if you can spare a donation to get Terry to his goal, he will see to it that it's money well spent.... Meteorologist Rebecca Kopelman.
