TIME TO SPRING FORWARD...
SO CLOSE, PLEASE CONSIDER A DONATION

A FINAL PERSONAL APPEAL
Hi all. I'm still hoping for 320Â dollars to reach my fund-raising goal (I'm 98% there). Personally, I'm appealing to those of you who appreciate the reliability, honesty, accuracy, and knowledge of the site, to consider a donation, (especially if it helps with financial decisions related to your business). If you fall into any of these categories and find value in the effort put forth, I humbly ask that you make a $20 dollar investment into this unique and reliable product.
Thanks so much, T. Swails
TIME TO SPRING FORWARD...
Any snow around the region melted quickly Saturday. Now we get to enjoy an extra hour of sunlight Sunday evening thanks to the arrival of daylight savings time. Along with a later sunset, temperatures will also be warmer, with highs pushing 60.

Following that, temperatures should expand into the range of 65 to 70 from north to south Monday.

This is all tied to a zonal flow in the upper levels of the atmosphere that will help deliver the warmth from the Plains into the Midwest:

A cold front will move through Tuesday in an attempt to knock back temperatures. However, highs will still be above normal:

Temperatures will bounce back into the 60s through the rest of the week, with a 70 possible Friday. That will be ahead of a powerful spring storm moving through the central U.S. Friday into Saturday:

The large storm will have strong winds along with rain and thunderstorms to its SE and snow to the northwest. The impacts on my local area will be dependent on the exact track, which consistently shows my area in the warm sector, far displaced from any snow. Highs in the upper 60s to low 70s are likely Friday, before a chance of showers and storms later in the day or evening.

Synoptically, if the track of both the EURO and GFS remains consistent, showers and storms, some strong, will be a concern for my local area Friday. Something to watch carefully the next 5–6 days. Meteorologist Rebecca Kopelman. Roll weather, and if you can spare a donation to help Terry reach his goal, I will see to it that it's money well spent....TS
