THE GOOD LUCK CHARM...

I NEED YOUR HELP TO MEET OPERATING EXPENSES

THE FUTURE OF THE SITE DEPENDS ON YOU.

Hi everyone, as you know, TSwails.com is a no-pay site; existing on voluntary subscriptions or personal donations. If you find value in the site, I'm asking kindly that you make the donation you feel is worthy. I'm suggesting $20.00, roughly a nickel a day. Less than 5% of my readers donate, so your gift is not only appreciated, it helps immensely. Your contribution, whatever you can swing, supports the content, infrastructure, and operational costs. Thanks for anything you can do!

THE GOOD LUCK CHARM THAT KEEPS ON GIVING!

I was out doing some touch-up shoveling earlier today and could not help but admire the carpet of white that adorned the neighborhood. The snow crystals were sparkling in the sun and everything looked so clean and fresh. It really was a winter wonderland. The only issue was the 5 below temperature, coming after a low of minus 17.

I decided I better take a picture as I have not seen sights like this for some time and wanted them for posterity and bragging purposes. I remembered that I had taken a photo January 3rd that I posted on this site. It was of a new snow gauge that I had gotten as a Christmas gift. I had planted it in my front yard in late December and remarked to my boy Homer, who had given it to me, that it was going to be a good luck charm. Well, since that fateful day, I have had 30.4 inches of snow. All of it came in 17 days, with an impressive period where snow fell 7 out of 8 days last week.

January 3rd my snow gauge looked like this.

Today with 15 inches of snow on the ground, it looks like this. I need the 2-foot model.

My wife asked me if I was happy now. I said, you're damn right I am! I literally begged, pleaded, and bargained Michael Jordan autographed tooth brush for this wind fall. Now I'm scanning the charts for more. Snow lovers rejoice. P.S. If you can swing a donation to the site it would be immensely appreciated. Roll weather...TS CLICK HERE TO CONTRIBUTE
