THE DRY STRETCH CONTINUES...

Rain has been tough to come by lately across the Upper Midwest. Some showers and storms dotted the region on Saturday, but rainfall totals were meager.

And that has been the case over the last week:

In fact, Cedar Rapids and Moline both haven't had ANY measurable rain in 15 days. There's not much sign of rain over the next five days:

There are signs of some more active weather toward the end of the week/weekend, but the heavier rain will likely be to the west of the region still.

While we have seen abnormally dry conditions develop in the area, there's still not huge cause for concern for drought conditions to redevelop thankfully:

We have the summer temperatures persisting, but not the summer rains, for now.
