THE DEFICIT GROWS...

If you're a snow lover it's been a sad winter around these parts. There may be some flakes around Sunday, but not enough to make up for the growing hole. Meanwhile, parts of the southern U.S. have seen historic white gold. Here's a look at the departures just from the last week:

It's at least not the worst winter ever. Here's a look at the least snowiest winters to-date... and we are in the top 20.

The snow will once again avoid the area for the rest of the weekend. Some very light snow is possible, but little to no accumulation is expected.

The week ahead doesn't look very promising for the white gold, either. However, there have been signs of a change around the 19-20th of the month.

Another arctic air invasion will send temperatures well below normal and we may have a shot at some snow toward the end of the month. Fingers crossed... or maybe you want to keep the snow away... :)
