THAW INCOMING...

Snow fell and melted all in the course of 18 hours (or less) Saturday night into Sunday morning. Here's a look at the snowfall totals around the region:

Another disturbance will move through Monday night into early Tuesday:

This will bring the chance for light rain/snow mix, but little accumulation is expected.

A big ridge of high pressure will move in and help send temperatures up for the end of the week:

Temperatures will warm up nicely and we'll have a thaw... but a brief one.

Here's the temperature trend for the Quad Cities:

And Cedar Rapids:

Temperatures start to trend down over the weekend into next week.
