THANK YOU DEAR FRIENDS...
DEAR FRIENDS...
On behalf of my family, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the tremendous outpouring of sympathy and support related to my father's passing.
He would be so amazed at the thousands of people who visited the site to read my tribute to him. Several hundred of you sent personal messages. In fact, there are so many that right now I don't have the time to personally thank you all. However, rest assured my family read each and every one and your words gave us strength and heartened our spirits.
Sometimes we forget that we all have more in common than we think. We are joined by similar emotions and needs and of course we all experience loss and grief. I am one of the fortunate ones who has been lifted up by people I have never met or rarely see. It was so nice to read the notes from old friends and co-workers I have not spoken to in years.
Just as incredible were the messages from those of you who I have never had the pleasure of shaking hands with. You can't imagine what it means to have complete strangers send a simple sentence of hope and strength. I have no idea why I was chosen to receive such a priceless gift but rest assured your efforts are not taken for granted. I am blessed. You are all my family and my prayers and love go out to you as well!
On behalf of my father and my family, thank you for helping us move forward in such a personal way.
Sincerely,
T. Swails
My trusted assistance Rebecca Kopelman will have a weather post for you later tonight and I will get back to doing what I am good at after the funeral Monday. Until then...roll weather.
I STILL NEED YOUR HELP. So far 255 of you have made a voluntary $12 dollar donation to TSwails.com. If we can get 145 more, this train keeps on chugging. Thanks to your generous donations to date, we are on our way and with just a little more help we're going to achieve our goal. All I'm asking is that if you enjoy the site and see value in it, please consider a voluntary subscription. I'm asking $12.00 dollars for a year. That's $1 dollar a month or 3 cents a blog if you consider the fact there were 450 posts issued over the past year. The site requires a significant commitment of time and resources and every donation, whatever the size is deeply appreciated. I just need a little help to cover the expenses. Click on the link below if you can assist or or need additional information. I thank you for your support and consideration.
