TAKING A BEAT...

There will be some dry time Sunday after a rainy start to Saturday. Rain was quite persistent in the first half of the day. This is only the precipitation through 9 am:

Sunday may start foggy, then we'll get plenty of sunshine and dry time. Temperatures will climb toward 80:

Showers and storms will become possible late Sunday night into Monday morning as a weak disturbance moves through:


Right now it appears there will be a batch in the morning and a chance for additional scattered storms near and east of the Mississippi in the afternoon:

Temperatures will be in the 80s with higher humidity in place:

Dew points will be on the sticky side:

A cold front will swing through on Tuesday and will lead to more showers and storms:

A few stronger storms may be possible depending on the timing of the system, but the details aren't very clear right now.

The rest of the wee will be drier and cooler...
