SUMMER SHOWERS...

There's been some great July weather since the derecho on Monday with quiet and more comfortable conditions. This weekend has been no different with just some sprinkles and clouds passing through. Sunday will be similar with a bit more moisture in place and the chance for a few more scattered showers and perhaps a thunderstorm:

Temperatures will once again be below normal:

Temperatures and humidity will be on the rise as the new week begins. Monday will be slightly warmer:

And higher dew points, that will be noticeable:

A lingering upper level low pressure system will lead to more scattered showers and storms Monday through Wednesday as the moisture levels stay up.

Monday:

Tuesday:

Wednesday:

Nothing that is overly impressive -- and precipitation won't really add up to much:

There could be locally higher amounts in any thunderstorms. A cold front will then move through on Thursday and high pressure will lead to calm weather for the end of the week.
