SOME STORMS FOR SUNDAY....

The area stayed dry on Saturday with some beautiful conditions as isolated storms persisted to the west. Those storms will gradually expand to the east and some showers and storms will move in overnight into Sunday morning:

It won't be a washout but some additional storms are possible in the afternoon:

Temperatures will be held to the upper 70s to low 80s:

Monday won't be too much warmer, but it will be a toasty day:

A few scattered to isolated storms will be possible Monday afternoon as a cold front slides through:

The rest of the week will be mostly dry and most of the heavy rain will fall to our south and east:

That is welcome news for the Mississippi in our neck of the woods which will be in major flood stage all week:

The rest of the week will be fairly pleasant with temperatures near normal in the low 80s and sunny skies!
