RAIN COMES MARCHING IN....

The mild weather continues to end the weekend ahead of another storm system. We'll have a mix of sun and clouds Sunday with temperatures running well above normal:

Winds will begin to pick up in the afternoon, though:

Rain will then move in Sunday evening continuing into early Monday morning. Snow will be possible near and north of the Iowa/Minnesota border in the colder air:

Down to the south there may be just enough energy/instability to allow for a few thunderstorms to develop:

Rainfall totals will likely be around a half an inch or less - not nearly as much as last week's storm:

Temperatures remain mild behind this system on Monday:

Temperatures will start to fall down for the remainder of the week...a bit on Tuesday:

And even more Wednesday:

Over the 7 day period March 12-19th temperatures on the EURO average 20-25 degrees below normal per day!.

Some wintry weather will work its way into the region toward the end of the week with snow chances increasing Thursday night and Friday. Accumulations look likely.

That's all for this edition. Enjoy your day...
