NICE AND QUIET....
Another stretch of quiet weather is underway along with mild temperatures across the Upper Midwest. We're not as warm as last weekend, but still above normal.
The nice weather isn't going anywhere just yet. There will be more clouds around Sunday as a storm system moves through near and east of the Mississippi:
Despite that, temperatures will still be in the 60s:
Some clouds may linger Monday but temperatures will continue in the low to mid 60s for Halloween:
We'll have a great evening with temperatures in the 50s for trick-or-treaters... no heavy coats needed over the costumes!
Temperatures get bumped up toward 70 degrees and around 15-20 degrees above normal on Tuesday for the first day of November:
And we could be at or above 70 on Wednesday:
The warmth is due to a ridge in the upper levels of the atmosphere, helping to send temperatures up:
A storm system will be developing out to our west and move in by Thursday or Friday:
The storm will bring in a chance of beneficial rain and then drop temperatures as we head into the second week of November.
Enjoy the pleasant weather while it lasts!
