SNOW IS ON THE WAY
I have a doctor's appointment today and have to depart soon. However, I have just enough time to put up the new snowfall output from the latest models. In general, everything seems to be in order and in line with previous thinking. Snow will commence later this afternoon, overspread the area this evening, and end late tonight. By then, most areas are likely to see 2–3 inches of powdery snow. Towards the conclusion of the event, strong winds and bitter cold air will surge into the region, creating blowing snow and bitter winds chills of at least 25 below. Clearly, more impactful weather is on the way tonight and Friday. A winter weather advisory is in effect from 3pm tonight to 9am Friday morning.
