MORE RAIN TO START THE WEEK....
We were all able to take a beat on Sunday with little to no rain in the Upper Midwest. Rain chances go back up starting Monday, more for some than others. Here's what I mean... the Weather Prediction Center has a slight risk for excessive rainfall in some areas:
The precipitable water amounts (moisture levels) are going to be very high once again -- tropical levels -- that will lead to the potential for very heavy rain.
Rain will be more scattered west of the Mississippi and widespread and heavier near and to the east:
Temperatures will be held to near-normal values around 80 degrees:
There will be more rain Monday night into Tuesday as a disturbance moves through:
There will be some additional scattered showers and storms during the day Tuesday and Wednesday... here's a look at rainfall totals through then:
We'll be drying out for the end of the week but there are many areas that are still in need of rain.
