JUST A DROP IN THE BUCKET...

Some heavy rain has fallen in the region but in much of eastern Iowa and western Illinois, it's been just a drop in the bucket so far. Rain will fall into Monday morning:

The heavier rain will still end up with the stronger storms in far southeast Iowa:

Precipitation in this region has been running well below normal for the last three months:

Drought continues to worsen in the area and more rain is needed:

Tuesday will be dry and sunny with another chance for rain by Wednesday:

And another prospect on Friday:

Most of the local area escaped the threat of severe weather, but we once again miss out on the heavy rain, too.
