A WINTRY PREVIEW...
We've been getting a preview of some early winter weather in the region as colder air has moved in and some flakes have been flying nearby. Snow fell and accumulated in portions of northwest Iowa:
There's a chance there could be some light flakes or flurries around in southern Iowa on Sunday:
Regardless, it's going to be a cold day:
Clouds will then clear and we'll have our first hard freeze of the season with temperatures dropping well into the 20s by Monday morning:
Monday will be sunny but still cold!
Tuesday will be sunny and breezy and chilly!
These temperatures are more typical for late November-early December so we're certainly getting a sneak peek at winter.
