A STORMY SUNDAY...
Saturday was a mostly quiet day with sunshine and toasty conditions. Some rain may be ongoing in the morning Sunday:
There will be a higher chance in the afternoon as a cold front moves through:
The Storm Prediction Center maintains a risk for strong to severe storms, especially southeast of Iowa:
The primary threats will be wind and hail, but a tornado or two isn't out of the question - especially in the yellow "slight" region.
Rainfall totals between a half an inch to an inch are expected, with some locally higher amounts possible:
Temperatures will be held near and below 80 due to the clouds and rain:
Some rain may linger early Monday:
Temperatures will once again be held below normal:
Tuesday will be sunny and dry with the next chance for storms on Wednesday:
Hopefully the storms stay fairly tame and rain will be beneficial.
