A BREAK IN THE HEAT...

The heat persists through the start of the week. Temperatures will remain 10-20 degrees above normal and the humidity will start to go up as well.

Humidity will be a bit higher than the last few days, but still not bad:

Tuesday will be hot:

With the humidity going even higher, the heat index will be close to 100:

A cold front will move through Tuesday night, leading to the chance for a few showers and storms:

Rain appears to be scattered and there could be some half inch totals where any storms occur:

Temperatures get knocked back a bit by Wednesday afternoon:

And even lower by Thursday:

And the humidity will be down as well, so it will be feeling more like fall once again:
