THE BIG 9-0....

No, it's not Terry's birthday... many of us hit the 90 degree mark for the first time this year Saturday afternoon! Here's a look at the temperatures Saturday afternoon around my local area -

It's not at all unusual to hit 90 this time of year - around the Midwest the average first 90 degree temperature is in late May/early June. Here's a larger look at the temperatures and dew points today:

Not only were the temperatures high, but the dew points were up there throughout the afternoon. Soo it was a day you could feel the air out there. A cold front will continue to move through the Midwest which is evident by the 30 dew points in the Dakotas versus the 60s in Iowa and Illinois.

A few scattered showers and storms will roll through the Midwest through Sunday morning along that front. It will be another warm day Sunday but it won't be quite as muggy.

High pressure will settle in over the Midwest through the beginning of the work week and keep things mighty calm...

Not going to be much in the way of precip and it looks like rainfall will likely be below normal over the next week.

It doesn't look very summery in the Midwest over the next five days and it doesn't look like we'll be seeing the big 9-0 again for couple of days.
